How does the Collective work?
Projects that will blow you away
Our last projects were snapped up but more will be coming soon.
Since 2025, projects on the Collective have generated kWh of green energy. That's like…
Powering homes for a year
Saving kg of CO2 from entering the atmosphere
Cancelling plane tickets from the UK to Spain
Making cups of tea
Please note these figures are estimates and should not be taken as fact or relied upon.
Energy generation is calculated from average readings taken throughout the day. These may differ slightly from the actual energy generated, so should be treated as indicative.
To work out how many homes could be powered, we used an estimated 2700kWh of annual electricity consumption per home.
For estimating how much CO2 has been saved, we use a 0.16kgCO2/kWh past 5 year average for the carbon intensity of the National Grid, and factor in an estimated carbon footprint of onshore wind of 8g CO2eq/kWh.
For flights, a flight from London Heathrow to Madrid uses an estimated 118kg of CO2 per passenger.
To work out how many cups of tea the projects could produce, we used a typical 2kW kettle boiling for 5 minutes to produce 6 cups of tea (0.028kWh per brew).
